PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper money transaction device configured to prevent generation of large amount of paper money determined to be payment-rejected due to a reason such that it is determined to be unrecyclable at payment, when paper money determined to be unrecyclable at payment is tried to be disbursed as recyclable paper money.SOLUTION: An automatic cash transaction device includes: a discrimination section configured to read the number of paper money and discriminate the state; a reject storage configured to separate paper money discriminated to be abnormal by the discrimination section at payment transaction from paper money discriminated to be normal to store it; and a storage section configured to store the number of the paper money discriminated to be abnormal by the discrimination section as a rejected paper money number list. A controller is provided configured to verify the number of the payment-rejected paper money, that is, paper money discriminated to be abnormal by the discrimination section at payment transaction with the number listed in the rejected paper money number list to disburse the payment rejected paper money when the number of the payment rejected paper money coincides with the number listed in the rejected paper money number list. |
