According to an embodiment of the present invention, an organic electroluminescent device comprises: a substrate; an organic light emitting layer arranged on the substrate; a first inorganic layer arranged on the organic light emitting layer; a barrier layer arranged on the first inorganic layer; and a second inorganic layer arranged on the barrier layer. The barrier layer is made by a structure which contains an inorganic substance of a nano size in an organic substance. The embodiment forms a barrier layer including an organic substance of a nano size in an organic substance to prevent moisture from permeating.
