PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle display device capable of displaying both external images corresponding to an external device and images indicating vehicle information.SOLUTION: A vehicle-information-image generation unit 12 generates a vehicle information image containing an external image display area corresponding to the number of external images acquired by a connected device management unit 13. The external image display area refers to an area on which the external images are displayed and that is adjusted not to arrange therein an image indicating vehicle information. A display control unit 15 generates a composite image in which the external images acquired by the connected device management unit 13 are arranged in the external image display area provided in the vehicle information image, and displays the composite image on a display portion 10. With this configuration, the vehicle information image without the external image display area is generated if, for example, the connected device management unit 13 does not acquire any external images. The image in a display form in response to the number of external images is displayed on the display portion 10 if the connected device management unit 13 acquires the external images. |
