PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method which enables analysis of a state change of a biological sample for a long period of time by using chemiluminescence.SOLUTION: An analysis method according to an embodiment includes the steps of: imaging a biological sample comprising a portion containing luciferase, luciferin, and luciferin-regenerating enzyme with time and acquiring a plurality of luminance images; and associating the brightness of a region corresponding to the portion of each of the plurality of luminance images with the state of the portion or the state of the biological sample. Luciferin-regenerating enzyme protein according to an embodiment has an amino acid sequence described in SEQ ID NO:1. Nucleic acid according to an embodiment contains a luciferin-regenerating enzyme gene having a base sequence described in SEQ ID NO:2.
