PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To negate the need of limiting fitting positions of hinges 10 and 14 while stably fitting the hinges 10 and 14 supporting a new door 8 to a post 1 when a swing type door unit opening/closing an opening portion O of a building and being housed inset is renovated to a structure housed outset.SOLUTION: A new door 8 replacing an existing door is disposed at a front side of an opening portion O and has suspending end portions supported by a peripheral portion of the opening portion O via a pair of upper and lower hinges 10 and 14 in a swingable manner and closes the entire opening portion O so as to cover the entire opening portion O from the front side of the opening portion O in a closed state. The pair of upper and lower hinges 10 and 14 are fitted by screws V having lengths reaching a post 1 from the front side of the opening portion O to the post 1 in the vicinity of the opening portion O. |
