PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid discharge head which enables a liquid in individual liquid chambers to be heated with good heating control ability without enlarging a head.SOLUTION: A liquid discharge head includes: a passage substrate 20 including individual liquid chambers 6, to which nozzles 4 for discharging droplets respectively lead, and a piezoelectric element 11 formed at a diaphragm 30 forming wall surfaces of the individual liquid chambers 6; and a holding substrate 50 joined to the side of the passage substrate 20, which is opposite to the side where the individual liquid chambers 6 are provided, and holding the passage substrate 20. Heating means 90 formed by a resistance element pattern formed by a layer 91 identical to a layer forming a lower electrode 13 forming the piezoelectric element 11 is formed in a joint area between the holding substrate 50 and the passage substrate 20. |
