The present invention relates to an advanced wastewater treatment apparatus using a multistage biofilter bed. The present invention comprises: a precipitation pond in which suspended materials and non-organic materials contained in wastewater are precipitated; a first filter bed for denitrifying organic materials contained in the wastewater flowing from the precipitation pond, the first filter bed having a first media layer with a predetermined thickness and a second medial layer with a predetermined thickness, which is provided to be separated from a lower side of the first media layer; a second filter bed for nitrifying a first filtrate, which has gone through the first filter bed, the second filter bed having a third media layer with a predetermined thickness; a third filter bed for removing residual suspended materials from a second filtrate, which has gone through the second filter bed, the third filter bed having a fourth media layer with a predetermined thickness; a discharge bath for accommodating a third filtrate, which has gone through the third filter bed, before being discharged; a circulation pipe for returning the first filtrate from the top end of the second filter bed to the top end of the first filter bed, and returning the first filtrate from the top end of the second filter bed to a space between the first media layer and the second media layer; a backwashing pipe for supplying backwashing water between the first media layer and the second media layer, between the bottom end of the second media layer and the bottom surface of the first filter bed, between the bottom end of the third media layer and the bottom surface of the second filter bed, and between the bottom end of the fourth media layer and the bottom surface of the third filter bed; and a micro-bubble generator for injecting air between the bottom end of the third media layer and the bottom surface of the second filter bed. |
