PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new ionic liquid having two or more kinds of heterocyclic rings in a cation thereof.SOLUTION: The cation of the ionic liquid is shown by a general formula (A) (in which each of R-Ris, independently, H, a substituted or unsubstituted, saturated or unsaturated, straight-chain, branched or cyclic alkyl group having 1-20 carbon atoms, a substituted or unsubstituted aryl group having 6-30 carbon atoms, an arylalkyl group having 7-31 carbon atoms or the like). The ionic liquid can be used as a gas absorbing agent, a catalyst of chemical reactions, a synthesis catalyst of polymers, a reactive solvent or an electrolyte for electrochemical devices and in technical fields related to medicine, pharmacy, biology or the like. |
