PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor of scalable encoding in a lookup table system capable of flexibly handling the granularity in dividing color space.SOLUTION: The image processor includes a prediction section that predicts an image in a second layer which has pixel attributes different from a first layer based on the image in the first layer by using a combination of a luminance component of the first layer, a first color difference component and a second color difference component as well as a lookup table for mapping prediction pixel value of the second layer corresponding to the combination. The prediction section acquires a prediction value of the luminance component in the second layer by using the first lookup table and acquires a prediction value of the first color difference component in the second layer by using a second lookup table which is different from the first lookup table in granularity. |
