摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shift to a four-wheel-drive state by improving noise-vibration performance in a case where a main drive wheel is slipping when there is a request for engaging a meshing clutch.SOLUTION: In a clutch control apparatus, for use in a four-wheel-drive vehicle that is provided with a dog clutch 8 and an electronic-controlled coupling 16 in a drive force transmission system to left-right rear wheels 19, 20, a 4WD control unit 34 disposed to perform respective engage-disengage control for the dog clutch 8 and the electronic-controlled coupling 16 performs: engage-control for the electronic-controlled coupling 16 first when there is a request for engaging the dog clutch 8 in disengagement; monitoring an increase-decrease gradient &Dgr;N/dt of a clutch differential rotation &Dgr;N of the dog clutch 8 during control for engaging the electronic-controlled coupling 16; starting to mesh-engage the dog clutch 8 when the clutch differential rotation &Dgr;N reaches, or falls below, a rotational synchronism determination threshold α. Further, in a case where the increase-decrease gradient &Dgr;N/dt is determined to be shifted from a decrease to an increase, an engine control module 31 starts engine torque-down control for reducing engine torque.
