PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery protection structure of a vehicle, which when an accident occurs, protects a battery by avoiding collision of a vehicle-width direction extending member that extends in the vehicle width direction.SOLUTION: A battery protection structure of a vehicle comprises: a battery case mounted to a frame structure of the vehicle; a vehicle-width direction extending member extending in the vehicle width direction in front or rear of the battery case; a first abutment part provided at the front end or the rear end of the battery case, which is closer to the vehicle-width direction extending member; and a second abutment part provided between the vehicle-width direction extending member and the first abutment part at a position opposite to the first abutment part along the vehicle width direction. Further, on either the first abutment part or the second abutment part, an inclined member is formed for guiding the second abutment part downward of the battery case after the second abutment part abuts against the first abutment part when a vehicle collision occurs. |
