PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a structure in which a steering column 4b and a support bracket 17b can be smoothly displaced to a front side at a secondary collision.SOLUTION: A spring-side lock part 40 of an energization spring 32a is locked to a lock piece 41 of a support bracket 17b in a state that the lock piece 41 is pressed downwardly. A push-pressing part 35a of the energization spring 32a is locked to a receiving face of a steering column 4b in a state that a pressing force progressing upward is made to act on the steering column 4b. At a secondary collision, when the energization spring 32a is displaced to a front side in the middle of a stroke at which the steering column 4b and the support bracket 17b can be displaced to the front side, and the energization spring interferes with a gear housing 12 of a steering force auxiliary device 5, the lock of the spring-side lock part 40 and the lock piece 41 is released, and the further displacement of the steering column 4b and the support bracket 17b to the frond side is permitted. |
