PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To move an intermediate plate so as to avoid contact with tie bars and interference with positioning of a mold tool.SOLUTION: A mold opening/closing mechanism comprises: a stationary side platen; a movable side platen which holds one mold tool and is separated from the stationary side platen; an intermediate plate which holds the other mold tool, and is located between the stationary side platen and the movable side platen; plural tie bars the one end of each of which is connected to the stationary side platen, the other end of each of which is connected to a base plate of the molding opening/closing mechanism, and which guide an advance and retreat of the movable side platen; and guide means for guiding an advance and retreat of the intermediate plate to/from the stationary side platen, between the stationary side platen and the intermediate plate. |
