The present invention relates to a protection structure for a water pipe laid underground to protect a water pipe. The protection structure for a water pipe comprises: a plurality of ball-shaped buffer members formed into a shape of a lightweight ball being in contact to each other on an upper part of a water pipe; a plurality of connection wires having rotary connection members formed on both ends to connect the ball-shaped buffer members to be rotated in an X-shape on each plane while continuously maintaining the rotatable state; and left and right self-load contact maintenance members fixated on one end of the connection wires connected by the rotary connection members to an outermost ball-shaped buffer members positioned in a leftmost and a rightmost side among the ball-shaped buffer members connected to each other by the connection wires to be rotated, and drooped downwards by the self-load of soil placed thereon such that the ball-shaped buffer members can continuously be in contact with an outer surface of the water pipe in a left and a right side of the water pipe. The present invention accurately grasps burial depth and position of the water pipe in a step of excavating the ground for a building construction and the laying of common cavities by installing the ball-shaped buffer members to protect the water pipe to be in contact with a top surface of the water pipe, preventing damage to the water pipe by firmly protecting the water pipe from external impact through an elastic force and a buffer force of a rubber ball cover of the ball-shaped buffer members, and a Styrofoam shape maintenance ball of buffer couplers. |
