PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a satellite relay device capable of preventing cumulative noise from reaching a great amount at a satellite side.SOLUTION: A satellite relay device comprises: a first antenna for receiving an input signal from a mobile terminal; an amplifier for amplifying the input signal by a prescribed amplification factor; a second antenna for transmitting an output signal amplified by the amplifier toward a communication satellite; an input power measuring instrument that measures the power of the input signal and determines whether or not the power of the output signal amplified by the amplification factor is at or above the minimum power necessary for reception at the communication satellite; and a transmission signal controller that performs control so that the amplifier does not amplify the input signal if the input power measuring instrument has determined that the power of the amplified output signal is below the minimum power. |
