PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a washing method of a filter capable of responding to a change in the inflow amount of raw water without requiring the storage tank of washing water in a filtration facility having a plurality of filters and using filtrate for washing the filters.SOLUTION: In a washing method using the filtrate of the other filters as washing water for the washing of one filter in a filtration facility where plural filters performing filtration by conducting raw water being an upward flow into a filter medium layer 3 formed with a floating filter medium are arranged side by side; the opening of a washing water gate 8 varying the amount of the washing water supplied to one filter is decided according to the water level of the filtrate of the other filters; and stable washing can be continuously performed without having the storage tank of the washing water by continuously supplying the washing water until the total amount of washing sewage water discharged from one filter reaches a predetermined amount. |
