PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle control device that can suppress a force turning a vehicle in an offset collision and prevent turning of the vehicle from being promoted.SOLUTION: The vehicle control device 10 includes: an automatic brake control part 72 for increasing brake force in a collision of a vehicle; a collision detection sensor 38 for detecting a collision position of a vehicle; and a brake control unit 22. The brake control unit 22 increases the brake force acting on at least one wheel 52 on an opposite side of a collision position detected by the collision detection sensor 38 more than other wheels 52 in the event of an offset collision.
