PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a discrimination method for soil distribution using a shield machine that accurately clarifies ground conditions at a face plane and enables soil distribution to be discriminated in a ground ahead of an excavation direction and at an outer peripheral part of the face plane.SOLUTION: A discrimination method for soil distribution uses a shield machine 11 provided with a discrimination system 10 for soil distribution at a face plane having an acceleration sensor 14 fitted at an outer peripheral part of a cutter head 13 and a computer 20. The computer 20 includes a vibration data storage part 21 that stores excavation vibration data sent from the acceleration sensor 14 for each predetermined angle of rotation, and a vibration data display part 22 that displays the excavation vibration data for each angle of rotation as an excavation vibration distribution 23 in a circumferential direction of a circle that simulates a cross-section of the face plane. The excavation vibration data for each angle of rotation are obtained for an excavation span of each ring of a shield tunnel, for discriminating a soil distribution of grounds 12a, 12b and 12c in a surrounding area based on a plurality of the excavation vibration distributions 23 in the circumferential direction obtained. |
