PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly calibrate multiple process speeds.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus in which N kinds of image forming speeds are available interchangeably includes: image forming means which forms a pattern image for density measurement, on an image carrier at a selected image forming speed; read means which reads the image formed on the image carrier; determination means for determining the presence of a reserved job which is reserved to be processed by the image forming apparatus; and control means which determines density correction characteristics on each of M kinds of image forming speeds to be used in the reserved job, and executes print processing of the reserved job. |
