Disclosed is a method for detecting a sequence-specific nucleic acid using exonucleases, comprising the steps of: mixing a double helix target nucleic acid sequence and exonucleases, where a 5′ terminal (a first terminal) of any one strand of double helix cannot be degraded by the exonucleases, and the other ′5 terminal (a second terminal) can be degraded by the exonucleases; hybridizing the result of the mixing step (hereafter, called mixture) with a capture probe; and detecting a target nucleic acid sequence hybridized to the capture probe. |
