According to an embodiment of the present invention, a linear compressor comprises: a shell coupled to a suction unit into which refrigerant flows and a discharge unit through which refrigerant is discharged, and having a power supply unit; a piston provided inside the shell and connected to the suction unit to compress the refrigerant flowing in the suction unit through a linear reciprocating movement; a motor assembly mounted inside the shell; a lead wire connecting the power supply unit and the motor assembly; a discharge cover covering the piston for a portion of the lead wire to be arranged on an upper side, and discharging the refrigerant compressed in the piston to the discharge unit; a loop pipe connecting the discharge cover and the discharge unit; and a packaging member packaging a portion of the loop pipe and the lead wire to become one.
