The present invention relates to an insulation resistance measuring device using a battery cell and a method thereof. The device includes: a first resistor which is connected to a first node between battery cells in a battery pack; a first switch connected to an end of the first resistor; a first measuring resistor which is connected between the other end of the first switch and the ground; a first measuring unit which measures a first voltage across both ends of the first measuring resistor; and a control unit which controls the first switch to connect the first node and the first measuring resistor between the battery cells and uses the first voltage measured in advance to calculate a first insulation resistance between the ground and a first terminal of the battery pack. |
