摘要 The present invention relates to a method for controlling a particle size of barium hydroxide for an anode active material of a lithium secondary battery, and a manufacturing device thereof. The method comprises the following steps: a) preparing a barium hydroxide powder; b) producing a barium hydroxide solution by inputting water into the barium hydroxide powder and stirring the same; c) manufacturing a mixture by inputting the barium hydroxide solution into a cooling solvent of methanol or ethanol and stirring the same; d) separating the mixture into the solution and slurry by filtering the mixture; and e) drying the slurry, wherein the particle size is adjusted by maintaining a temperature of the cooling solvent within a range of 0-10°C to suppress crystal generation and a growth reaction of barium hydroxide. The method for controlling the particle size of barium hydroxide for the anode active material of the lithium secondary battery and the manufacturing device thereof according to the present invention make it possible to manufacture the high-purity uniform barium hydroxide powder of which a mean particle size is smaller than or equal to 15 μm by removing impurity metal ions through the simple process and the manufacturing device.
