Disclosed are an automation system and method to clean a sea chest using compressed air. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the automation system to clean a sea chest using compressed air comprises: a compressed air reservoir; an auto drain device which is formed in the compressed air reservoir; and a connection pipe which is installed to blow the air exhausted from the auto drain device into the sea chest.
