Disclosed is a tail gate latch for vehicles. The tail gate latch for vehicles of the present invention comprises: a latch body which is installed to be able to rotate inside a latch housing by having an entrance groove unit allowing a striker to enter, has a full open groove unit, a half lock groove unit, and a full lock groove unit on the outer circumference thereof, and rotates forward by being pushed by the striker entering the entrance groove unit; a pawl lever which is elastically supported toward the latch body and maintains a rotation state of the latch body by being caught in one side of the full open groove unit, the half lock groove unit, and the full lock groove unit; a close lever which is coaxially installed on the latch body by having a hook groove unit on an edge thereof, and rotates by being interlinked with movements of a cable connected to an actuator unit; a release lever which is coaxially installed on the pawl lever by having a pin guide unit of the edge, is elastically supported toward the latch body, and comes into contact with or is connected to the pawl lever so as to rotate backward by being interlinked with the pawl lever when rotating backward to be separated from the latch body; a connecting lever which is installed to be able to rotate on the close lever by having multiple pin units respectively coming into contact with or separating from the full open groove unit, the half lock groove unit, and the full lock groove unit, and rotates the latch body forward by transferring torque of the close lever to the latch body when the close lever rotates forward; and an operation control unit for controlling the operation of the actuator unit, and pulling or unwinding the cable toward or from the actuator unit. |
