The present invention relates to a safety system for a road work, which is capable of reducing an accident caused by rush of vehicles into a road work site. The safety system for the road work according to the present invention comprises: an impact sensing means which is provided in a vehicle guide member disposed on a road, detects an impact given to the vehicle guide member, and generates a signal; and a warning means which is provided in working clothes or a safety helmet worn by a worker and performs a warning operation according to the signal generated by the impact sensing means. The vehicle guide member is erected on the road and falls when an impact more than a certain value is given. The impact sensing means includes a slope sensor which is installed in the vehicle guide member and senses a slope of the vehicle guide member when the slope is more than a certain value, and a transmission unit which transmits a signal generated by the slope sensor to the warning means. The warning means includes a reception unit which receives the signal transmitted by the transmission unit, and a warning sound generator which generates a warning sound according to the signal received by the reception unit or a vibrator which generates a vibration according to the signal received by the reception unit. The safety system for the road work according to the present invention comprises a portable signal generator which generates a signal by a user operation; and a warning means which is provided in working clothes or the safety helmets worn by the worker in the work site and performs a warning operation according to a signal transmitted from the portable signal generator. Therefore, when the irrupting vehicle collides against the vehicle guide member or when a signal man finds the irrupting vehicle, such an emergency state is promptly warned to the workers in the work site, thereby reducing a casualty damage to the workers. |
