The present invention relates to a device structure for connecting and protecting an underground power distribution line, comprising: a first tray and a second tray for supporting first and second unit power distribution cables respectively and installed with a gap in a lateral direction to correspond to the lengths of the connection parts of the first and second unit power distribution cables, and a pair of first and second half-pipes for insulation and reinforcement arranged in a lengthwise direction and enveloping the connection parts; a pair of clamps arranged at both lengthwise sides of the connection parts of the first and second unit power distribution cables to open and close the half-pipes for reinforcement; and a rotating clamp mount installed on the first and second trays to be able to rotate and having the clamps mounted thereon. The insulating performance of the connection parts can be further enhanced as the first and second half-pipes for insulation and reinforcement, which are composed of an insulating material, and press the connection parts of the first and second unit power distribution cables. In addition, the connection parts are protected from external vibration or shocks to prevent contact failures and arc generation and to prevent arc dispersion and continuous arc generation as the clamp devices combined with the first and second half-pipes for insulation and reinforcement are combined and fixed to the first and second trays to be able to stably and firmly support the first and second unit power distribution cables and the connection parts thereof in a mechanical manner. |
