The housing (1) has a thermosetting plastic body (9) partly overlapped by a thermosetting plastic (11) in a hood-like manner, where the plastic body is formed as a base body. The thermosetting plastic is spray-applied on the base body. A bracing element i.e. untercut, is formed on a surface of the plastic body. A surface of the bracing element is covered completely with the thermosetting plastic. A trailing edge of the plastic body is surrounded by the thermosetting plastic. A compressor channel (5) is provided with a discharge port (7). An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a plastic compressor housing. |
