The present invention relates to a haptic actuator which is embedded in an electronic device like a mobile phone which needs a vibrating response by touch, and generates vibration by interaction of a coil and a magnet. The haptic actuator of the present invention comprises: a case having an accommodation unit formed therein; a coil member fixed in the case, vertically wound, and connected in order to receive power from a control unit; and a vibrator which is placed on the outside of the coil member and is installed in the accommodation unit to be elastically and horizontally movable. The vibrator comprises: first and second magnets placed on one end of the vertical direction of the coil member with a predetermined distance from each other; third and fourth magnets placed on the other end of the vertical direction of the coil member with a predetermined distance from each other; a first magnetic body installed on one end of the horizontal direction of the first magnet and the third magnet; a second magnetic body installed on the other end of the horizontal direction of the second magnet and the fourth magnetic body; and first and second weights installed in the first magnetic body and the second magnetic body, respectively. The polarities of the first and second magnets are N poles formed in a facing direction and S poles in an opposite direction. The polarities of the third and fourth magnets are N poles formed in a facing direction and S poles in an opposite direction. Lines of magnetic force released from the N poles of the first, second, third and fourth magnets are converged on the coil member. |
