In particular, enhanced inter-cell interference coordination may benefit from proper configuration and setup, as well as termination, of partnerships amongst base stations. A method can include determining at a first base station of an interference coordination partnership pair a corresponding partner base station of the pair. The partner base station may not be configured regarding the partnership pair. The method can also include setting up the partnership pair with the partner base station. |
