A control method and control device for a photovoltaic inverter circuit, the control method comprising: after receiving a power-on instruction, charging a positive total bus capacitor and a negative total bus capacitor (S1); when a first preset condition is met, stopping the charging operation and controlling a phase lock loop of a power grid to perform a phase locking operation (S2); after the phase lock loop completes the phase locking operation, starting a five-level inverter in three-level mode, and conducting voltage loop control and current loop control on the five-level inverter (S3); when a second preset condition is met, controlling a first Boost converter and a second Boost converter to start with no load, and conducting voltage loop control on the first Boost converter and the second Boost converter (S4); after the input voltage and input currents of the first Boost converter and the second Boost converter become stable, controlling the five-level inverter to run in five-level mode (S5). The control method can reduce fluctuation of the input voltage and input power of a solar cell array in the process of starting a photovoltaic inverter circuit, enabling the starting process to be smoother. |
