In order to obtain a compact, simple and robust control valve for a hydrodynamic torque generator, which valve is linear across a broad adjusting range, the control channel (12) of said control valve is shaped such that when the valve body (6) is rotated between a first valve position (α1) that differs from the closed position, and a second valve position (α2) that has a greater flow rate (formula (I)) than in the first valve position (α1), a substantially linear relationship is achieved between the valve position (α) and the flow rate (formula (I)). |
