The present technology pertains to an image processing device and method that enable the correction amount to be calibrated more easily when correcting brightness. The image processing device performs a blending calculation whereby the brightness of an image projected from a projection unit is corrected in accordance with the distance to a projection surface on which the image is projected, and on the basis of the characteristics of the projection unit. For example, this technology can be applied to an electronic device equipped with the functionality of a projector and/or a camera, to a computer controlling these, and a system in which devices having a projector and a camera work together. |
