Provided is a technology capable of evaluating skin conditions with high accuracy in a non-contact fashion. An apparatus for evaluating skin conditions according to an embodiment comprises a spraying unit, a tomographic data acquisition unit, and an information generation unit. The spraying unit is configured to spray a surface of a subject's skin with a gas. The tomographic data acquisition unit is configured to acquire, using optical coherence tomography, tomographic data of the skin being sprayed with the gas by the spraying unit. The information generation unit is configured to generate evaluation information relating to conditions of the subject's skin on the basis of the tomographic data acquired by the tomographic data acquisition unit. |
