PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display device capable of preventing reduction of visibility due to reflection of external light.SOLUTION: An image display device 100 includes: a base plate 1; and plural light-emitting elements 2 mounted on the base plate 1. The plural light-emitting elements 2 are mounted on the base plate 1 so that the light emission planes 13 are oriented in plural different directions within a range of 0-90 degree relative to a vertical direction of the base plate 1. With this, the direction of reflected light of identical external light in the light emission plane 13 of the plural light-emitting elements 2 is scattered in plural different directions, and the intensity of the reflected light is uniformly reduced.
