PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a separator for a capacitor, whose thickness is low and mechanical strength is strong and also to provide a separator for a capacitor capable of obtaining the capacitor whose internal resistance and internal short circuit occurrence ratio are low and leakage current is small.SOLUTION: A separator for a capacitor is characterized in containing 50 mass% or more of a fibrillated solvent-spun cellulose fiber which is increased in freeness such that a fiber diameter of a stem part of the fibrillated solvent-spun cellulose fiber is reduced to less than 9.0 μm. |
