When Ddenotes diameter equivalent to a specific surface area, as calculated from the specific surface area determined by the BET method, and Ddenotes crystallite diameter, as calculated from the half value width of a peak of the (111) face of LiTiOusing the Scherrer equation, Dis 0.1-0.6 μm, Dis greater than 80 nm, and the ratio D/D(μm/μm) of Dand Dis 3 or lower. The lithium titanate powder contains at least one metal element M selected from among Mg, Zn, Al, Ga and In, and changes in the concentration of M atoms and Ti atoms towards the inside from the surface of lithium titanate particles satisfy a specific condition. |
