PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and method configured to limit and/or reduce the occurrence frequency of the "cycling" of a phase change memory (PCM).SOLUTION: A system includes a phase change memory (PCM) module 200 and a cache memory for storing write data corresponding to the specific address of the PCM module into a cache. The system also includes the steps of: providing the phase change memory (PCM) module; and managing the cycle limit of the PCM module by storing write data corresponding to the address of the PCM module into the cache memory.
