PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide signal conversion in terms of time and/or frequency, especially audio signal encoding.SOLUTION: There are provided a method and a system for generating an output signal to which an input signal is converted using a conversion factor in high frequency reconfiguration (HFR). The system includes a frequency region harmonic converter include a decomposition window that extracts a frame of the input signal and is L in length, and a decomposition conversion unit that converts a sample value to M complex coefficients and is M in dimension. The system further includes: a nonlinear processing unit for changing phases of the complex coefficients using a conversion factor T; a synthetic conversion unit that converts coefficients after change to M sample values after change and is M in dimension; and a synthetic window having length suitable for generating a frame of the output signal. |
