PROCESS FOR PRODUCING WET RUBBER MASTERBATCH

A process for producing a wet rubber masterbatch, characterized by comprising a step (I) in which a filler is dispersed in a dispersion medium to produce a filler-containing slurry, a step (II) in which a rubber latex is added to the filler-containing slurry and the resultant filler-containing rubber latex is stirred with heating to thereby cause coagulation, and a step (III) in which the filler-containing rubber latex is stirred while adding an acid, thereby coagulating the latex. The process is further characterized in that in the step (II), a mixing tank equipped with stirring blades is used for the stirring at a peripheral speed less than 10 m/s and the quantity of heat given by the heating to the filler-containing rubber latex is 25-250 J per unit time period and unit mass.
