Non-use-indication information can be set as attribute information for each peak in mass spectra recorded in a compound database (33), said non-use-indication information being capable of selecting whether the peaks are to be used in database searches. The non-use-indication information is set in advance for noise peaks and contaminant-derived peaks included during actual measurement. During compound identification, when the mass spectra and the non-use-indication information are read from the database (33) in order to perform a database search, an unnecessary-information deletion unit (341) transmits, to a compound-candidate extraction unit (342) and a scoring unit (343), the mass spectra having had, deleted therefrom, the peaks for which the non-use-indication information is set. Accordingly, the peaks for which the non-use-indication information is set are disregarded when calculating the scores of compound candidates, scores having higher accuracy are calculated, and identification accuracy can be improved. |
