An information processing device comprising a communication unit which can communicate with a user terminal and also comprising a storage unit and a control unit, wherein: the storage unit stores a plurality of sets of product information, each set of product information being associated with one of a plurality of products that can be presented on a web page, and including a plurality of tiers which form a tree structure and to which one or a plurality of product attributes belong; in response to a request from the user terminal, the control unit transmits, to the user terminal, a web page which shows both a product to be viewed, selected from among the plurality of products, and a first group of recommended products that are extracted on the basis of association with the product to be viewed; and if the user terminal specifies a first product that is among the first group of recommended products and that has a different attribute for the first tier of the plurality of tiers than the product to be viewed, then the control unit extracts, from the first group of recommended products, a second group of recommended products which have the same attribute for the first tier as the first product, and replaces the first group of recommended products with the second group of recommended products. |
