The present invention relates to a rubber composition for a tire tread, and to a tire produced by using the same. The rubber composition for the tire tread comprises: 50-200 parts by weight of a wet master batch; 60-70 parts by weight of raw rubber; and 50-200 parts by weight of carbon black. The wet master batch is obtained by conducting reaction of 50-200 parts by weight of carbon black, 20-100 parts by weight of a plant-based resin, and 50-200 parts by weight of processed oil with respect to 100 parts by weight of styrene-butadiene latex via a batch-type method. Thus, the composition exhibits high gripping performance under a high load, high slipping, and high speed condition, and can consequently be applied to an ultrahigh performance tire. |
