Disclosed is a gas insulated switchgear having an improved insulation function. The disclosed gas insulated switchgear comprises: an external container; a first fixed conductor fixed into the external container; a second fixed conductor fixed into the external container, and disposed to face the first conductor; an operable conductor disposed to be slid in the second fixed conductor, and slid towards the first fixed conductor, so a front end part of the first fixed conductor may be inserted in and connected to a front end part thereof; and a shielding member disposed to wrap an outer circumference of the front end part of the first fixed conductor, and formed to be backwardly moved to a rear side of the first fixed conductor by an external force. According to the gas insulated switchgear, an electric field of an end of the conductor is alleviated, so dielectric strength can be improved. |
