PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hinge mechanism of a vehicle console which enables a biasing force acting on a movable arm, to which functional components such as a table are attached, to be adjusted without replacing a torsion spring.SOLUTION: A hinge mechanism of a vehicle console includes: a rotation adjustment body 30 which may rotate around an axis center of a hinge shaft 60 relative to a movable arm 90; and an adjusting bolt 70 which is subject to adjustment of an amount of screwing into a console body side and thereby positions the rotation adjustment body at a given rotation position. A torsion spring S is assembled to the axis center of the hinge shaft 60. One end of the torsion spring is engaged with the movable arm and the other end is engaged with the rotation adjustment body. The torsion spring biases the movable arm in a direction such that the movable arm is erected relative to the console body. A biasing force of the torsion spring applied to the movable arm is adjusted according to the rotation position of the rotation adjustment body positioned by the adjusting bolt. |
