1. A computer-implemented method for operating a wagering game comprising:
receiving, at a processor, a player first wager; displaying, on a user interface, a set of plays for a first game; determining, by the processor, whether the player has acquired a first game asset; and updating, by the processor, a game profile for the player based on a determination that the player has acquired the first game asset, wherein the game profile for the player comprises a record of the player's current game assets; and receiving, at a processor, a first play in the first game according to a set of rules for the first game, wherein the set of rules for the first game is based on the record of the player's current game assets.
