Provided are a reformer of a methanol water hydrogen production device, and a manufacturing process thereof. The reformer comprises a reformer shell. The reformer shell sequentially comprises a stainless steel inner shell, a thermal insulation cotton layer and a mica outer shell from inside to outside. The ratio of the diameter of the reformer shell to the thickness of the stainless steel inner shell is 150:0.8 to 150:2.5, the ratio of the diameter of the reformer shell to the thickness of the heat insulation cotton layer is 150:10 to 150:20, and the ratio of the diameter of the reformer shell to the thickness of the mica is 150:1.5 to 150:3.5. The reformer not only is high-temperature resistant and great in strength, but also is good in thermal insulation property, corrosion resistance, and oxidization resistance, waterproof, non-conductive and light in weight. |
