Provided are: a thrust slide bearing having fewer components than conventional thrust sliding bearings and having simpler component assembly; and a spring pad-integrated elastic seal. The thrust slide bearing (100) comprises: a composite resin upper case (110) into which is inserted an upper tip section of a piston rod used in a shock absorber for a strut-type suspension; a composite resin lower case (120) rotatably superposed on to the upper case (110) around the axial center of the piston rod; a composite resin slide bearing piece (130) interposed inside an annular space formed between the upper case (110) and the lower case (120) and which receives the thrust load of the piston rod; and a spring pad-integrated elastic seal member (140) that seats a coil upper end section of a damper coil spring (SS) wound around the axial center of the piston rod and that also seals the annular space between the upper case (110) and the lower case (120), on the outer circumference side of the cases.
