摘要 The present invention relates to a method for producing an embryonic stem cell-derived multifunctional angiogenic pericyte, and a cell therapeutic composition containing the multifunctional angiogenic pericyte. The method for producing an embryonic stem cell-derived multifunctional angiogenic pericyte of the present invention, characterized by natural selection by substrate-specific adherent culture, enables pure isolation and proliferation of a multifunctional angiogenic pericyte without additional processes such as fluorescence-activated cell sorting or magnetic cell sorting, and it is confirmed that the pericyte has multipotency, a characteristic of the multifunctional angiogenic pericyte. In addition, a fact that the unadulteratedly isolated multifunctional angiogenic pericyte tested positive for specific markers was confirmed. Therefore, the present invention can provide markers for identifying a multifunctional angiogenic pericyte, and the embryonic stem cell-derived multifunctional angiogenic pericyte produced by the method of the present invention can be effectively used as a cell therapeutic composition for treating or preventing cardiovascular diseases or retinal diseases.
