PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switching regulator capable of obtaining a stable electric current detection current value even when an input voltage, an output voltage, and an inductance value vary.SOLUTION: A switching regulator 1 includes an inductor element L1, a switching element Q1, and a control circuit 10 for controlling the switching element Q1, and converts and outputs an input voltage Vin into an output voltage Vout set via the inductor element L1 and the switching element Q1. The switching regulator 1 also includes: a voltage reference circuit 8 for current detection configured to change a reference voltage according to the input voltage Vin, output voltage Vout, and inductance value L of the inductor element L1 and on time of the switching element Q1; a current detection circuit 4 configured to detect an electric current flowing into the switching element Q1; and a current detection comparator 9 configured to compare the output of the voltage reference circuit 8 for current detection with the output of the current detection circuit 4. |
